Learned to bike at age 3 (I hope tricycles count too). I was on 2 wheels at age 6.
Traveled several weeks on bike through Slovakia in 90’s with my dad, I was a teenager that time – like 14 or 15 years old. We loved weekend bike tours that were 50-100km long. They were road or mixed (road/forest road/ very few singletrak)
FYI – No one did biking “for fun” in Czechoslovakia that time, LOL.
We have completed two bike tours both about a week long cca 600km each. We were total bike outlaws
Got my first mountain bike around 1990 – wow that sounds ancient. I still have it. It’s rigid, made of steel, real treasure..
